QCHP participates in “AMEE” 2018 conference

Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) of the Ministry Of Public Health participated in the Association for Medical Education in Europe “AMEE” annual Conference and the accompanying exhibition, at Basel, Switzerland.

The conference included a diverse range of educational activities comprising research and reporting, electronic posters, presentations and workshops which discussed the latest developments and innovations as well as international best practices in the field of medical education, with the presence of more than 4,000 experts and leaders of medical education.

During the conference, The Accreditation Department, Qatar council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP-AD) had two presentation. Both of the presentation were highly interactive and well received by the attending audience.

The QCHP exhibited a booth that presented a number of publications reflecting Qatar's experience in medical education and implementation of the National CME/CPD Accreditation System. The booth was visited by many participants as well as many institutions and organizations involved in medical education.

It is worth mentioning that National CME/CPD accreditation system has achieved global recognition. It is currently; recognized by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME); and our credit system is recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Academy for Family Physicians (AAFP).
