Under the patron of the Supreme Council of Health, the Accreditation Department of the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners in association with the Royal College Canada International (RCCI) organized a training workshop for surveyors on 9th June 2015.
The CPD Accreditation Surveyors Training Program is a formal certification program that aims to develop a qualified pool of National surveyors who will play a key role in the National CME/CPD Accreditation System for the State of Qatar.
It is worth mentioning that the team of surveyors was carefully selected from public and private healthcare organizations and academic institutions to represent the different sectors of Qatar's healthcare system.
The surveyors were trained on the process of reviewing the submitted accreditation applications from CPD Providers, conducting a successful site visit and writing a professional accreditation report. The workshop was highly interactive and included presentations, case studies and group discussions.
Meanwhile, the Accreditation Department continues to organize workshops in association with the RCCI to orient the stakeholders about the National accreditation System and CPD Framework. Two workshops were held this month, the "Accreditation Summit 4" and the "Pilot process training".
